What Mansi Panchal Taught Me About True Sales Power

As a fresh sales executive in the real estate market, I always believed that the fastest talker wins the deal. That’s what I was trained to think, “close fast, talk more, push harder.” I used to go into meetings ready to fire answers, counter objections before clients even finished speaking, and dominate conversations like it was some kind of verbal boxing match. But despite all that effort, my closing rates barely moved.

Then one day, scrolling through LinkedIn after yet another failed pitch, I stumbled upon Mansi Panchal’s powerful insight on sales. Her post flipped my entire mindset: sales isn’t about aggression but about authority, presence, and silence.

Mansi spoke about something I had never considered, that true sales power comes not from being the loudest, but from being unshakeable. She explained how objections aren’t something to fear, but an invitation to pause, listen, and let the client feel safe enough to share their real concerns. That one perspective changed everything for me.

I started applying her method. Instead of jumping into quick explanations the moment an objection surfaced, I forced myself to hold space. I slowed down. I allowed silence to sit in the room , something I used to find unbearable. And what happened next was almost magical: clients started talking more, revealing their true hesitations, and slowly walking themselves closer to the deal. I wasn’t chasing them anymore; they were leaning in on their own.

Mansi’s phrase  “Power doesn’t chase. Power sits back and watches the world come to it.”  stuck with me. I realized that confidence isn’t shown by how much you say, it’s shown by how calmly you can sit in uncertainty without flinching.

Since adopting this mindset, my closing ratio has jumped, my conversations feel more natural, and most importantly, clients leave meetings feeling heard and respected, not pressured.

Thanks to Mansi Panchal, I’ve learned that the real game in sales isn’t about overpowering your client. It’s about making them feel safe, seen, and empowered, and that’s what truly closes deals.
